What is digital accessibility?
An accessible website is a site that allows all internet users to access its content without difficulty, including people with disabilities who use specialized software or hardware.
An accessible site allows, for example:
- navigation using screen readers or braille displays (especially used by blind or visually impaired users);
- customization of the site's display to suit specific needs (text size enlargement, color adjustments, etc.);
- navigation without a mouse, using only the keyboard or a touchscreen.
Accessibility policy of the website www.derichebourg-multiservices.com
DERICHEBOURG Multiservices pays particular attention to the quality of its websites. It is committed to a process aimed at complying with the RGAA 3.0 standard in France (General Accessibility Guidelines for Administrations), as well as the WCAG 2.1 (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines) from the W3C.
To achieve the best possible result, accessibility is considered by all teams involved in the development of the website, as well as by all content contributors.
Accessibility features of www.derichebourg-multiservices.com
Layout and content separation
The use of style sheets (CSS) ensures the separation of design and content.
The page structure follows development standards and is logically organized for keyboard and screen reader navigation.
Text size
Fonts use relative sizing units, allowing users to adjust the text size easily via their browser’s zoom function, without breaking the layout.
Colors
In general, information is not conveyed by color alone.
A button in the left-hand menu allows users to activate a high-contrast version of the website, in line with RGAA criteria.
Images
Informative images are described as precisely as possible using alternative text (the "alt" attribute), readable by assistive technologies. Decorative images are left undescribed to avoid unnecessary noise for screen reader users.
Carousel
The website contains no flashing or animated images that the user cannot control.
Carousels include a pause button, and when focus moves away from the carousel, it pauses automatically to avoid distraction.
Media
Video players are designed to display YouTube videos with subtitles that can be activated and managed by the user.
The player also supports the availability of text or audio alternatives (note: not all videos currently offer these alternatives).
Forms
Form autocomplete is enabled and functions on browsers that support autofill based on previously entered user data.
Navigation assistance
Menus
The main menu on the left is permanently visible on all pages and gives access to main sections.
The logo in the navigation bar links back to the homepage.
The site map, located at the bottom of each page, provides access to all sections and subsections.
Keyboard navigation
The navigation menu is fully accessible via the keyboard using the Tab and Enter keys. Pressing Esc will close the menu.
Within pages, the Tab key can be used to move between content blocks.
Links
Link titles are clearly labeled. Additional context can be included via the "title" attribute and shown in tooltips on hover.
The label “new window” is added to links that open external content in a new browser window.
Skip links
Skip links are available at the top of the page (accessible via the Tab key) to jump directly to the main content or search bar.
Third-party components exemptions
RGAA 2.0 standards allow exceptions for third-party components not controlled by DERICHEBOURG Multiservices. These include:
- Tweets embedded from the Twitter feed on the homepage
- Embedded YouTube videos

Some elements of the site, such as carousels and the menu, are still being improved and may not fully meet RGAA accessibility requirements.
