A dynamic and innovative start to the new school year!
10.12.2023DERICHEBOURG aeronautics services, our aeronautics subsidiary, has won a contract for a new service for one of its major industrial customers.
Since August, a team of more than twenty people has joined the workforce of a plant on the Atlantic coast. In order to best meet the customer’s expectations, DERICHEBOURG aeronautics services has skilfully taken advantage of synergies between its foreign subsidiaries to identify profiles whose expertise could be quickly adapted to this new business. As a result, some fifteen technicians from the Spanish subsidiary joined the project.
For 6 months, DERICHEBOURG aeronautics services employees will be working to assemble high value-added business seats for aircraft of all types (A321, Boeing 787, Dassault...). They will add to the composite seat hulls all the electrical connections required for screens, USB access and other backrest mobility buttons.
There are several seat models to choose from, depending on the aircraft and layout selected by the end-customers, who are renowned European and Asian airlines. Once assembled, the seats will join the assembly lines for integration in aircraft or directly at customer's sites. This new service certainly opens up a world of opportunities for the DERICHEBOURG aeronautics services teams.
