1.31.2023

As they do every year, members of DERICHEBOURG Multiservices staff rally around and give pride of place to employing disabled persons!

The new European Week for the Employment of People with Disabilities (EWPD) starts today Each day members of Derichebourg Multiservices staff will be able to participate in various events. This week will be launched by a lecture by Sophie VOUZELAUD, 1st runner-up in the Miss France Competition 2007, who is deaf. More than ever employment and the integration of members of staff with a disability is a major issue in the culture of our subsidiaries. With some 1,300 disabled workers, the whole of DERICHEBOURG Multiservices reaffirms its commitment.

Malika Bouchehioua, Human Resources Manager at DERICHEBOURG Multiservices, recently explained the Group's commitment:"Disability affects each one of us. One out of two persons will have a disability during their lifetime and we must act to change attitudes to disability, in order to prove that working and disability are not incompatible!" It is true that 80% of disabilities are invisible and do not require any re-organisation of the workplace.

For his part, Romain LAVAUD, Diversity Advisor at DERICHEBOURG Multiservices, reminds us of the disability objectives:"With our network of 31 diversity ambassadors ad making the entire HR sector and managers aware, we hold all the tools to impart real dynamism to our disability policy: recruitment, professional fulfilment and career development. The main objective is employment growth for workers with a disability."
